The Law Firm of D. L. Reichard, II and Associates had its origins in 1917 when N. F. Keller and W. L. Minick formed a partnership for the practice of law in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. In 1931 Niemond Keller became a sole practitioner, which he remained until 1937, when he joined with J. Downey Benedict to continue the General Practice of Law. On August 25, 1944 Downey Benedict was killed in action in Southern France, while serving with the U.S. Armed Forces. In 1951 Mr. Keller was joined in the practice by his son John W. Keller. D. L. Reichard, II became associated with the Firm of Keller and Keller in 1967. After John Keller left the Firm to become Judge in 1968, Mr. Reichard continued to practice law as a Partner of N. F. Keller from then until Mr. Keller died in 1973. Mr. Reichard practiced in partnership with R. Thomas Murphy during 1995 and in October 1998 was joined by Douglas R. Roeder and by Eric Weisbrod in January, 2000. In January 2001 the firm was restructured by the inclusion of Eric J. Weisbrod as a member and on March 26, 2001 Carrie M. Bowmaster joined the practice as an associate. The firm has served without interruption as Solicitor for the Borough of Waynesboro and several of its Boards and Commissions from shortly after N. F. Keller began his law practice in Waynesboro until the present.
